On the cozy Hogewoerd is a beautiful building, the former woolen factory of Leiden. The factory was purchased in 1863 by the firm van Wijk, after which the tower was later built in 1910. The factory buildings made space for apartments and a parking garage in 1989. The tower was preserved during demolition, and is that now exactly where the front door of this apartment is located.
At the bottom of the tower is the entrance situated, access to the second floor by stairs or elevator.
The apartment is located on a common outdoor gallery, where a cozy bar has been created for the first cup of coffee in the morning.
Access to the apartment through the large facade, which provides plenty of light into the apartment.
The living and dining room are located on this front of the house and are separated from the L-shaped kitchen, which is fully equipped, through an open cupboard.
Through the hall we reach the rear of the apartment where two (bed) rooms, a bathroom with bathtub, shower and sink and the laundry room are located. Please note, only one of the bedrooms can actually be used as a bedroom (with double bed), the other room is not equipped as a bedroom.
Through the fixed staircase in the living room (under which is storage space) we reach the beautiful, spacious and sunny private roof terrace! A jewel in the city, from where you can spend hours enjoying the view of Leiden.
The house will be delivered in the state as on the pictures, including furniture, bedding, crockery and washing machine.
